Dark green, feather type leaves have leaflets arranged in various planes giving  them a plumose appearance.  Leaves grow 8-16 feet (2.4-5 meters) in length.  Gray, ringed trunk is 12 inches in diameter.  Rapid growing to 60 feet (30 meters).  Zone 9
Great palm for fast growth for shade and quick screening.

Excellent as a tall tropical accent for poolside or entryways.

Growth is moderate to fast, will reach about 25 feet in 15 to 20 years.

Graceful arching form adds a delicate look to a large garden. The Queen Palm is used extensively in Southern Florida landscaping, particularity to emphasize tropical themes along the coast and inland valleys. Because the Queen Palm is a clean tree, it is a favorite around swimming pools.
